We welcome volunteers to help in every part of our organization. If you would like to learn more about impactRichmond, please contact Kevin Salminen.

Whether you can help for a few hours or a few weeks; we will take whatever you want to give.

• Dining room help
• We are always in need for servers, cooks, and food preparers
• Worksite help
• We are in need of “gurus” or those individuals willing to help during the week of camp on home repair projects
• Drivers
• We are in need of those persons who can help drive our volunteers to and from work sites and be available throughout the day to drive if needed.
• Showers
• We are in need of individuals who can provide shower facilities for up to 7 volunteers at 3:30pm in the afternoon.
• Clean up volunteers
• We are in need of individuals who are able to take a day out of the their schedule to help after the work camp week and finish up sites or help clean up worksites.
• Work day volunteers
• Parents are allowed to visit impactRichmond during the work week and volunteer for one day on a work site. Impact encourages the parent to spend the entire day with impact, from breakfast to the evening activity.

Financial Support

We welcome monetary donations. We are recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation by the Internal Revenue Service. This means that all money donated to impactRichmond is a tax write-off. As you consider a donation, please check with your workplace about matching funds.

tools & supplies

We want to be a desirable mission opportunity in Virginia, which means we would like to provide everything a group need to complete their project. We had a great deal of tools donated last year, and we had many gracious folks allow us to borrow tools as well. If you have tools that you would like to donate or let us borrow, please contact us.

Our greatest needs are drills that have a reverse function and ladders (both extension and step).

We will provide you with a receipt so that you can write off tool donations on your taxes. Please e-mail Joe so that he might share our most pressing needs with you.

We are also looking for corporate sponsors that can donate building and painting supplies. impactRichmond will be pursuing local businesses to partner with us to better the lives and homes of the people we serve.
